In this video we show a shot reverse shot, match on action, a conversation across a table and someone walking across a room. We started this piece by first coming up with the idea of what the story was. The story was put on to a storyboard and then we started filming it is about a boyfriend and a girlfriend but the boyfriend is actually gay and wants to be with another boy but cant because he does not want to hurt his girlfriend. The shot reverse shot was used in the beginning where the girlfriend is looking through the window at her boyfriend it then cuts to the shot of him for a bit of dialogue and then cuts back to her at the window again. Shot-reverse-shot is when a scene cuts to another and then back. We also used a a match-on-action shot as the girlfriend walks through the door the camera position changes but everything else stays in the same place as she then continues to walk across the room and sits down to talk to her boyfriend.
